On the edge of the Palestinian village of Fasayil, in the Jordan Valley, Bedouin suffer from severe water shortages and demolitions. The State of Israel is attempting to "clean" Area “C” of Palestinians, and, as in other villages, residents are evicted from their homes on the grounds that they are living on an archaeological site. At the same time, the residents are denied the right to connect to wells that Mekorot (Israel Water Authority) uses to supply Israeli settlements, and any pipes that are independently laid are dug up by the State. Israeli and international activists came in an act of solidarity with the village. Language:
