Uploaded: 11/08/2010 Duration: 5:30 Minutes Available in Hebrew
Coverage
A Bedouin village within Israel has been demolished three times within two weeks, without the authorities having offered its residents any public services, including water. Al Arakib is a Bedouin village founded in the Negev before the establishment of the State of Israel. Their attempts to work the land and create a little Garden of Eden were thwarted when the state authorities destroyed their crops and homes. We joined a group of activists who were brought to the village at daybreak by the residents, who sensed that security forces were about to destroy the village again. Language:
