Panel – The Arab Peace Initiative

Talk In March 2002, 22 heads of Arab states - including the Palestinians voted in favor of the peace initiative of the Arab League. the principles of the Initiative are simple: a Palestinian state will be established within the 1967 borders (Israeli withdrawal include land swaps to preserve the settlement blocs), the problem of the Palestinian refugees will be solved under an agreed solution; Arab - Israeli conflict will come to an end, and peace agreements between all Arab countries and Israel will be signed and ensure the security of all countries in the region. However, Israel chose then and now chooses to ignore the sweeping historical opportunity. On 24 December 2012 a panel took place in order to examine the details and obstacles of the enterprise.
