Women Pray in the Western Wall

Coverage The Western Wall plaza was filled with women on the morning of Rosh Chodesh of Shevat. As previously reported, “Women of the Wall” were forcibly removed, pelted with chairs and even arrested by the police. This is because they wanted to pray aloud and put on prayer shawl.
