Coverage
Part of a meeting that took place in jaffa a day before Eid-al Adha and Yom Kipor discussing the new Initiative "two states one homeland". The initiative, offers a number of basic principles adressing the conflict's root problems, and seeks to serve as a basis for Israelis of different backgrounds to build a future peace agreement that will meet the fears and concerns of diverse populations. The fundamental principles of the initiative are the belief that in order to resolve the conflict, we have to repair past injustices without creating new injustices. To obtain the right of return of refugees and the right of the settlers not to leave, see Jerusalem as capital of two states, and establish joint institutions that will decide on a fair distribution of resources.
