Story
Mohammad Siam, 21, is living with diabetes in besieged Gaza. He is an international activist raising awareness of diabetes and a young person struggling for new opportunities in the face of adversity. Mohammad (and the inspiring wall behind him, which took five days for him to create) Zooms with Yara Majadlih, 23, from Baqa al-Gharbiya, who studies communication and English literature at Tel Aviv University. Upon reading his posts on Facebook, she invited him to a conversation about diabetes and Palestinian Identity. Yara's interview with Mohammad is part of Social TV's "Call from the Arab World" project, designed to educate the Jewish public in Israel about the daily reality in Arab countries. Language:
