Story
A survey conducted (17 March 2019), by the Smith Institute for Social TV in cooperation with the Haoketz website reveals data that shed light on the entire media discourse in the election campaign. The public is troubled by socio-economic issues and the social agenda of the party is twice as important to it as its political agenda. 72% responded that the way the state measures poverty does not reflect the actual dimensions of poverty. Only 31% believe that the Netanyahu government acted to reduce poverty. 32% believe left-center parties are concerned about social issues, while 19% believe that right-wing parties are concerned (24% say no party cares about these issues). 76% of the respondents said that the party's socio-economic positions would influence their choice, while only 58% said that the political issues would influence their choice.
