Story
On an improvised stage near the detention facility "Holot", ten people, four Israelis and six asylum seekers are trying to reflect the reality of life, that Israeli society, through its legal system, pushed far from the center, to the desert. The method is inspired by the "Theatre of the Oppressed" created in the sixties in Sao Paulo, Brazil by Augusto Boal. The method makes no distinction between art treatment and activism. The performance is about the journey of asylum seekers from the moment of their arrival in Israel to their incarceration in Holot by government orders, and sanctioned by the law. Language:
