Why is the collection of Palestinian stories translated into Hebrew called Amputated Tongue? What makes the group of readers with a Attentive Ear come together to read the stories together? Palestinian literature is almost unfamiliar to Hebrew readers in Israel. An initiative of a written project at the Van Leer Institute presents us with a unique treasure trove of stories written by Palestinian writers from Israel, the Palestinian Authority and Arab countries. Here is an opportunity to get to know our Palestinian neighbors differently.
