According to official data from the Ministry of Economy and Industry, in 2015, 34 workers were killed in work accidents in the construction industry. This is an increase compared with 31 deaths the year before. These figures add up to the thousands injured in work accidents in the construction industry every year. This disturbing reality requires finding real solutions and formulating ways of coping. "The voices from the field come to the Knesset - construction workers and their families talk about work accidents" was held on February 23, 2016 in the Knesset, in cooperation with the Division for the Advancement of Equality in the Histadrut and with the participation of construction workers and their families.
