Water shortage in Qarawat Bani Hassan
Politics Uploaded: 18/08/2016 Duration: 2:21 Minutes Available in Hebrew
Story
Qarawat Bani Hassan, a Palestinian village west of Ariel settlement, suffers water shortage because “Mekorot” (Israel’s national water company) reduced its supply. This past July, Machsomwatch volunteers visited the village because of its water shortage and heard from its inhabitants how they cope with this problem. Qarawat Bani Hassan is not alone: numerous Palestinian villages in the West Bank and Palestinian Jordan Valley suffer from water shortage that does not reflect a lack of water sources. This inconceivable situation is far from the Israeli public eye. Language:
