Story
Following a public struggle, which received much public support, the Israeli government decided to postpone the deportation of the migrant workers' children in three months, but the public struggle is not over. The status of some 17,000 refugees staying in Israel has not been resolved. Most of them cannot work since they do not have permits, and on Sept. 1, 2009 the deportation of the migrant workers' children who were born in Israel is set to begin. Israel is the only home they had ever known. This video introduces the people whose families are about to be deported. Language:
