 An edition dedicated to criticism of media coverage of the fighting in Gaza and the south. The Israeli media was enlisted by the army and essentially became a spokesman for the IDF’s "Pillar of Defense" operation in Gaza. Watching the various news broadcasts, you might think that the public fully supports the military operation but, in fact, there are many who object. Last week across the country there were demonstrations against IDF operation in the Gaza Strip. Among the opponents were members of the organization "Another Voice" composed of residents from the south declaring, "We're tired of being sitting ducks serving political interests." Voices of protest were heard from five different demonstrations across the country last week. The blogger Yossi Gurvitz, (Friends of George), hosted the on edition and expressed his opinion on Israeli public relations and criticized the government and its leaders. Safety instructions are issued by the Home Front Command to almost everyone, but you can understand them only if you speak Hebrew - can you believe this?
