On February 1st, hundreds of Palestinians and supporters re-established the abandoned village of Ein Hijleh, which is surrounded by Israeli settlements in the Jordan Valley, and slept in homes that belong to the Orthodox Church and monastery of Deir Hajla. The Activists renovated abandoned houses, planted trees and were trying to revive the village. On Friday, 07/02, a large army force raided the village and used tear gas and stun guns to violently evict the activists. Language:
