Madeleine Habib, Captain of "Amal"

Coverage Meet Madeleine Habib from Tasmania, Australia. She is the captain of the Amal (Arabic for "hope"), one of the ships of the Women's Boat to Gaza flotilla, which is right now on its way to the besieged Gaza Strip. Madeleine previously worked on the ship with Doctors Without Borders where she took part in their rescue missions in the Mediterranean sea, rescuing migrants of the coast of Libya, delivering them safely to Europe.
