Environmentalists Out

Story The Holyland affair exposed what happens behind the scenes in various planning and construction committees in Israel, and the phenomenon of the “fixer (or middleman)”. Now the Interior Minister has ordered the removal of representatives of environmental organizations and civil society from the Urban Planning subcommittees. Once again a heavy curtain of secrecy was dropped on the planning process. Organizations gathered this week to discuss ways of fighting the decision together. Language:  Arabic Subtitles:  English
