That's how Eran Weintrob, CEO of "Latet" started the interview about the alternative poverty report, which enlights the poverty and nutritional insecurity in Israel in the times of the Corona-virus. In summary: the proportion of poverty escalated, from around one fifth of the families to almost one third of them (850,000 , 29.3%). 422,000 new families became financially distress due to the virus. 656,000 (22.6%) families live in a nutritional insecurity, of them 286,000 (9.9%) are in a severe nutritional insecurity. 79.1% of the population believes it is the government which is responsible for diminishing poverty but only 21.3% of them think it's actually doing so.​ Language:  Hebrew Subtitles:  English
